HISTORY
ORELL Tec AG (previously OLAER (Switzerland) AG) was founded in 1969 in Colombes (F) as a fiduciary of OLAER Industries SA. It was in 1976 that we were able to move to the facilities where we are currently locat-ed, in Düdingen (in the Canton of Fribourg).
On the 1st of July 2012 the worldwide active OLAER Group was taken over by Parker Hannifin Cleveland. On the 1st of January 2013 ORELL Tec AG (previously OLAER (Schweiz) AG) was bought back by its management and became a certified Parker distributor for hydraulics.
ORELL Tec AG (previously OLAER (Schweiz) AG) currently employs staff in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. With its products and services in the fields of hydraulics, water and wastewater technology the company ranks among the market leaders in this country. ORELL Tec AG (previously OLAER) focuses on new innovative and sustainable industrial and infrastructural products, which are systematically developed further.
Since being founded ORELL Tec AG (previously OLAER) quality assurance has been part of our company philosophy. The company became ISO 9001 certified in 1995.
COMPANY ACTIVITY
AS a Swiss company with a long tradition ORELL Tec AG (previously OLAER (Schweiz) AG) has made a name for itself in terms of damping, cooling, accumulating and filtering of fluids. High quality engineering solutions and products have become indispensable in today’s industrial and mobile applications.
In the second business field, the pulsation damping for water and wastewater applications, ORELL Tec AG (previously OLAER (Schweiz) AG) constantly expands its activities. The water and wastewater technology are traded under the proper name «ORELL Tec».
As part of its strategic development programme, OLAER (Schweiz) AG is to be renamed ORELL Tec AG. The change of name will take effect on 01.01.2021.
